UWR Podcast 39 is Live
Wednesday, November 14th, 2007
Used Wigs Radio podcast 39 is now available - it’s an old school ‘cast, with just the three of us talking/arguing about music, pop culture, and other nonsense…including, in this case, dangerous deoderants. I don’t have the heart to post the supporting picture Jeff is using for the latest cast on my own site, but by clicking the link above you’ll see the latest that his madenss has generated. Enjoy!

Best of Used Wigs Radio v.1
Monday, November 12th, 2007
As some of you may know, recently the Used Wigs Radio team decided to pull our old shows from iTunes and off the Used Wigs server since we were a bit concerned about the RIAA coming down on people for copyright issues. While 95% of what we did in the past was done with permission, well, we just didn’t want to take any chances going forward. So, shows 1-36 evaporated into thin air.
In some ways that’s a good thing since the first few shows were anything but polished, and now we’ve really hit our stride. However, it does mean that some great guest spots got removed - although now it just gives us a chance to have them back on the show! Still, we didn’t want the celebrity interviews we’ve done to just vanish - so, we’ve got two “Best of Used Wigs Radio Interviews” shows in the can - the first of which can now be downloaded from www.usedwigsradio.com.
The first “Best of” features Todd’s interviews with comedic heavyweights Jim Gaffigan and Mike Birbiglia - tune in and enjoy!

The latest podcast has been posted over at www.usedwigsradio.com, and this time we had the queen of the Philly social scene, Rachel Furman (of www.rachelsguide.com), live in the studio with us for the entire show! We had a lot of fun, and the show is a great one - give it a spin!

Both courtesy of Mr. Raw Bacon.

UsedWigs Radio Goes Respectable
Monday, October 1st, 2007
The UsedWigs Radio podcasting team (myself, Todd Marrone, and Jeff Lyons) has been asked to speak to the “Theory of Electronic Communications” graduate-level class at Philadelphia University in early October. It’s not open to the public, but I still thought it worth sharing because it’s pretty cool. I imagine our honorary doctorates in Communication can’t be far behind…
