After School Specialists in Rehoboth
November 11th, 2007| So, we (The After School Specialists) just got back from our trip to the Rehoboth Film Festival this weekend in Rehoboth, DE - where we got to see our award winning film “Dogfish Head Day Afternoon Of The Dead” on the big screen! It was a very cool thing to hear my music out loud in a commercial movie theater, and hopefully that’ll be the first time of many. The audience reaction was fantastic, and we were really treated very well - I hope we win first place more often! We had a big entourage with us, and spent last night hanging out with Dogfish Head owner Sam Calagione (who bought us a few pitchers of the 60-Minute IPA…marvelous!) - who I’m happy to report is a fantastic and down to Earth guy, and who should be fervently supported - and various other directors, producers, writers, and actors (there was a lot of “hey, wasn’t the guy from…”).It was great weekend and reward for a lot of hard work, and more than that, a catalyst to keep doing these kinds of things. A few new A.S.S. projects are in the works - stay tuned!
Also - the movie will soon be available on the Dofish Head website - I will of course post again when you can view it. Whoop! |
