North Star Show Recap

May 7th, 2008

You know, for a Sunday night in an out-of-the-way part of town, we had a really good evening on 5/4. Kicked off with an outdoor band dinner at Bishop’s Collar and followed by a set by the very interesting Little Ruth Busey, the Hulihees took the stage forĀ a modest but enthusiastic Sunday night crowd - and then stuck around for an amazing set by Atlanta’s Gringo Star (HIGHLY recommended!) and local heroes Long Walk Home, who we played with last Fall at the Tritone (sharing an impromtu jam on Frank Zappa’s “Camarillo Brillo”). More pics are available on the Hulihees site, but a full-band shot can be seen below. Our next show will be a stripped-down affair at Milkboy Coffee’s newest location in Bryn Mawr on June 7th for the “Artstravaganza”…more details to follow in another post. See you there!
